The Hesselson Lab at the Centenary Institute engineers novel proteins to tackle unmet medical needs. We use computational design and evolution directly in human cells to improve existing proteins or create entirely new functions. We are committed to training the next generation of students for academic and professional careers in STEM and medicine.
